The pending block demolition of our North Fairfax location necessitated our move to a new location in the Del Ray neighborhood of Alexandria. They are demolishing our former location to make room for a new apartment/condo building.

Important Announcements
We recently bought 4 estate collections, totaling over 16,000 records. Due to space reasons, we will not be buying many used records for quite a while. Most likely, we will not resume buying used records until sometime in the spring of 2024. EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE: The only used records we will look at and consider buying will only be in the genres of Punk, New Wave/Alternative, 1950s-60s Jazz and Reggae. We have lower amounts of used stock of these genres at this time.

Our brick & mortar store is located in downtown Del Ray at 2417 Mt. Vernon Avenue, Alexandria, VA 22301 on the basement level (between Piece Out and Cheesetique). Street parking is readily available.
Metro Directions
Metro Access:
- Potomac Yard Metro (Blue/Yellow lines)
Walking: Head south on Potomac Avenue. Take a right on Glebe Road. Take a left on US 1 (Richmond Highway). Turn right on East Raymond Avenue. Turn left on Mt Vernon Avenue and you will find us located next to Piece Out Del Ray.
Bus: From the Potomac Yard Metro, take the 33 bus (King St Metro via Mt Vernon Ave) to the Mt Vernon Avenue and Raymond Avenue stop.
- Braddock Road Metro (Blue/Yellow lines)
Walking: Head south on N West Street. Turn right on E Braddock Road. Turn right on Mt Vernon Avenue and continue for .9 miles.
Bus: From the Braddock Road Metro, take the 10B (Ballston) bus to Mt Vernon Avenue & Hume Avenue stop.

Crooked Beat has a new window display paying tribute to the 25th anniversary of Neutral Milk Hotel's landmark album "In the Aeroplane Over the Sea." This record has consistently been a customer favorite here, and currently resides at #3 on our all time Top Sellers list! Earlier this year, Merge released a reissue of "The Collected Works of Neutral Milk Hotel," a handsome LP box set that had previously been available only through the band's web store.
