Availability:
Candidate must be able available to work the following, but actual hours will vary:

• ·         Mondays 1:30-7 PM,
• ·         Wednesdays 4-7 PM,
• ·         Fridays 12 PM to 7 PM
• ·         Saturdays 12 PM- 7 PM

Candidate will work up to 20 hours a week.

Skills & Disposition:

• ·        Ability to focus, multi-task and effectively communicate in a retail setting
• ·         Initiative to stay self-directed and prioritize daily tasks
• ·         Organizational skills, including alphabetizing and sorting records by genre, artist, etc.
• ·         Reliability, flexibility and positive mental attitude as record store duties change
• ·         Working knowledge of social media such as Facebook, Instagram and TikTok
• ·         Working knowledge of FileMaker, Adobe, and Point of Sale software is preferred
• ·         Passion for music of the different genres, particularly those we carry in the store, and be ready to talk about them during an interview

Important Notes:

• ·         This is an entry level position but a very fun job for a music lover willing to learn about different genres and how the record industry operates.    
• ·         There will be a three-week probationary period to determine if the applicant is a good fit.
• ·         An ideal candidate is a record collector who is semi-retired, a college student or has another job with compatible hours.
